Albi early
Albi early, the sun light jump on the medieval and historical city.
A really must see place with amazing and unique color’s early, late and in the night. Albi, Tarn (France) is really a very old city with a lot of medieval house. It was and Episcopal City and was insert in the Unesco list in 2010.
This pict of Albi was took from Mercure Hotel, in ‘La Madeleine’ quarter that was build in an old mill building with red brick. Such wall take a really nice color with the sun and night light.
Front of me : the old medieval bridge and the Cathedral Saint Cecile. You will spend 10 minutes to walk from the Hotel to the center of Albi with 2 options :
- Cross the new bridge (not in this picture) on the left and get a nice vue of the 3 bridges.
- Walk down to the old bridge, the one you see here on the Tarn river and use the old road to reach the Cathedral place where is located the tourism center of Albi.
